What does a day in the life look like for you Kate?
I usually wake up around 6.30 to make sure my teenager is up for his paper round. Check blog emails and Instagram messages before I go to work. Husband makes the kids breakfast so I can get ready! I work at Warner Music as Head Of TV Promotions. My job is basically to get the bands I work for exposure on Television. Sept - Christmas is the busiest time of the year as all the big shows are back on air, Graham Norton, Strictly etc. If I'm not at a TV show I will get home around 6.30pm and make dinner for the family and then work on my blog. I publish every Sunday so I do an hour or so every evening and put it all together on Fridays. I multi-task and watch TV at the same time. I'm usually in bed by 10.30. I love my bed!
When did you start writing your blog and how do you balance it with your work within the music industry?
I started it in the summer of 2017. I've got into a rhythm of writing it over the course of the week and publishing on Sundays now, but I am going to drop a day from my 'real' job as of October as it was getting a bit too much to balance The Blog and Instagram work with working full time.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
'Something Will Always Turn Up' Basically try not to worry too much and life has a way of working itself out in the end.
How would you describe your style?
I'd say fairly eclectic. I love big floaty dresses, but I also love all black. I'm a Rock Chick at heart, but one who also love Stevie Nicks!
Hoops or studs? Necklaces or rings?
Small hoops are my go to earrings. Necklaces over rings every time. I love to mix and match my necklaces. I only own 3 rings and I wear them every day.
